Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
- Create and manage the company’s marketing budget
- Identify potential markets and develop strategies to meet growth initiatives
- Planning and implementing promotional campaigns including print, social media, event presence, etc.
- Create digital (and print) content for a variety of communications platforms (Websites, emails, social media channels, Press Releases, video scripts etc.)
- Create and manage social media strategy (including management of ad campaigns) and other marketing initiatives
- Manage customer newsletter strategy and mailing lists
- Measure and track performance of marketing initiatives through analytics
- Identify and execute potential advertising opportunities
- General marketing (flyer distribution, event presence, etc.)
- Create and provide content to design lead for required graphics for website, social media, marketing collateral, etc.
- Maintain record of press coverage
- Participate in networking opportunities outside of the company (e.g. young professional groups, marketing associations, etc)
- Manage database of pictures and videos
- Charity coordination
- Manage promotional items and merchandise
- Plan and facilitate promotional activities, trade shows, health and wellness fairs, etc.
- Assist with potential sponsors and community partners negotiations
- Conduct marketing research for sales and promotion purposes
- Create, send, and evaluate customer surveys
- Communicate marketing strategies and plans throughout the organization to ensure understanding and alignment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree (required) with a major in marketing, sports management, advertising, communications, business administration, journalism, web/graphic design, etc.
- Experience creating and managing Facebook Ads
- Experience setting up and analyzing tracking/analytics for marketing initiatives, e.g. Google analytics, Facebook tracking pixels, etc.
- B2C marketing experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
- Sports-related background and/or interests
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights and/or weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 or more years of marketing experience
- Management/Supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.)
- Experience with Hootsuite software
- Experience with MailChimp software
- HTML knowledge/web design experience
- Event management experience
- Experience with sponsor acquisition, fulfillment, and/or management of sponsor programs
- Experience setting up or running corporate programs
- B2B marketing experience
