Winter Big Turkey Bowling Wednesday Majestic Lanes 8pm
In an absolutely rediculous display of spectacular bowling, Tom Bomar opened his second game of the night with seven consecutive strikes, leading to a capped score of 205. The 205 was all the more important because Pintastic won the overall pincount be ONE pin.
Much like Lofa Tatupu leading the Seahawks defense, Tami Evans led Spare Parts all the way to a 4-0 victory. She rolled a very impressive 175 followed by a modest (by her standards) 157. The Red Hooks that Tami won were donated to the Lofa A. Tatupu foundation, which gives beer to those in need.
After a lackluster first game, Heather Papineau and her teammates stepped up their game and improved from a 537 in the first game to a 633 in the second. That included Heather's bump from a 135 to a 164. Show Me Your Splits have established themselves as one of the favorites in the Majestic League.
In coed bowling it is a team game and every single pin counts. This was never more evident than this past Wednesday when Jamie Klein had just enough in the tank to help push the Black Mambas to victory over the Bowling Bitcholas.
It was no ordinary night for Jenn Oberheuser. Jenn started off with an outstanding 134 in her first game, followed by an incredible 189 in the second with two Red Hooks along the way.
While Heather Papineau had a big night, it was Blane Burgess who ultimately set the tone in leading Show Me Your Splits to victory. Blane had a two game score of 350 which was tops on his team, while Heather also had a strong two game score of 306.
