Marketing Associate

  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns including print, social media, event presence, etc.
  • Create digital (and print) content for a variety of communications platforms (Websites, emails, social media channels, Press Releases, video scripts etc.)
  • Create newsletter content and maintain newsletter mailing lists
  • Create social media calendar and maintain all social media platforms
  • General marketing (flyer distribution, event presence, etc.)
  • Participate in networking opportunities outside of the company (e.g. young professional groups, marketing associations, etc)
  • Manage database of pictures and videos; photo editing
  • Manage promotional items and merchandise
  • Plan and facilitate promotional activities, trade shows, health and wellness fairs, etc.
  • Conduct marketing research for sales and promotion purposes


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (required) with a major in marketing, sports management, advertising, communications, business administration, journalism, web/graphic design, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Sports-related background and/or interests
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights and/or weekends
  • Must be 21 years of age or older


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite required (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, etc.)
  • Experience creating and managing Facebook Ads
  • Experience setting up and analyzing tracking/analytics for marketing initiatives, e.g. Google analytics, Facebook tracking pixels, etc.
  • Experience with Hootsuite software
  • Experience with MailChimp software
  • HTML knowledge/web design experience
  • Event management experience
  • Experience with sponsor acquisition, fulfillment, and/or management of sponsor programs
  • Experience setting up or running corporate programs
  • B2B marketing experience
