SSIA Customer Service Champion Award

Houston Sports and Social Club Named Top Social Sports Club in America

Houston, TX — A Houston-based sports and social organization has been named the Top Social Club in America, earning the Champions Award for Customer Service from the Sport and Social Industry Association (SSIA)—a national association representing adult sports and social clubs across the United States and Canada.

Houston Sports and Social Club earned the honor by outperforming more than 54 clubs nationwide, based on a standardized Net Promoter Score (NPS) survey sent directly to participants over the past year. The award reflects real feedback from members and measures overall experience, satisfaction, and likelihood to recommend.

The club received Best in Class recognition among organizations with over 10,000 annual participants and went on to achieve the highest customer satisfaction score across all tiers, making it the top-ranked social club in the industry throughout the U.S. and Canada.

“We are excited to win this award for the second year in a row, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible players and staff,” said Pedro Garcia, Director of Operations. “We’ve built more than leagues—we’ve built a community where people come to make friends, stay active, and feel included.”

Serving more than 35,000 Houstonians each year across 10 sports, Houston Sports and Social Club welcomes all skill levels and genders. You can even sign up as a team or as an individual and get placed on a team for the season. The club emphasizes inclusivity and connection, offering an environment where competition is optional but community is guaranteed.

Guided by its core values—Meet People. Stay Active. Have Fun. Give Back.—the organization has become a hub for social connection in Houston, offering post-game hangouts, social events, and opportunities for people new to the city or looking to expand their social circle.

“In a city as large and diverse as Houston, finding community can be hard,” Garcia added. “We’re proud to offer a place where people from all backgrounds can come together, stay active, and have fun—while representing Houston on a national stage.”
