Houston Sports & Social Club is excited to bring the same spirit of community that has connected adults across Houston to a new generation of players.
Our youth sports events are designed to give kids a place to come as they are, meet new friends, stay active, and have fun. No pressure. No need to already have a team. Just a welcoming environment where kids can get out, play, and make friends.
Kids Open Play Kickball

Houston Sports & Social Club is bringing the fun to the kids with a special Open Play Kickball Night for ages 9–14!
No team needed and no season commitment — just sign up, show up, and play.
Players will be split into teams when they arrive and rotate through 30-minute kickball games during a two-hour evening of play. It’s a fun, low-pressure way for kids to get outside, stay active, meet other kids, and enjoy one of the easiest sports to jump right into.

Players of all experience levels are welcome. We’ll organize the teams and games — they just need to come ready to play!
And with no HISD classes on Friday, October 9, there’s no need to worry about getting home for a school night.

Parents/guardians must register their child to participate as kids cannot sign up on their own.
Join us for HSSC's Kids Open Play Sand Volleyball! Open to kids ages 9-14, this is a single drop-in session — no team sign-up needed. A parent or guardian must remain on-site for the duration of the event.
Kids are divided into teams on-site and rotate through games to 15 points across a 2-hour afternoon at Wakefield Crowbar. With two courts running side by side, up to 24 kids can play at once.
All skill levels welcome — this is about having fun, being active, and meeting other kids in the area. $30 per player.
